Why he's on the list: A new manager playing a new style? Same old Sonny. One of the most steadily successful players -- and best finishers -- in the Premier League kept right on going at age 31 this season. Over the past five seasons, Son has averaged 15.6 goals and 8.4 assists in Premier League play. This year: 17 and nine as a first-year captain for a Spurs team that adopted a frantic, possession-hungry style under manager Ange Postecoglou and improved from eighth to fifth despite losing Harry Kane.
Projection for 2024-25: Well, that's a pretty big question. Son's contract expires in 2025, and the club could see pretty large turnover in further adapting to Postecoglou's style, so they could move on if the right offer comes. Best guess? There was a lot of pressure on Son to deliver for Spurs this season. After Harry Kane's departure to Bayern Munich, the South Korea international became the main man in the team, which was further underlined by Ange Postecoglou's decision to hand him the captaincy.
By his own admission, the 2022-23 campaign was Son's most disappointing in a Tottenham shirt to date. However, the 31-year-old has shown he still has plenty left in the tank while swapping between his usual position on the left and a central striker role this term.
Son netted 17 goals, including three across two pulsating north London derby games against Arsenal, showing once again that he is peerless when it comes to the art of finishing. Spurs may have missed out on the Champions League, but Postecoglou's first season in charge must still be deemed a success, and Son certainly seems to be enjoying his football again under the no-nonsense Australian.

4. Son Heung-min (90 points)
The season was always going to be tough for Tottenham, not only with Harry Kane leaving, meaning there were a fair few goals that needed replacing, but also Hugo Lloris.
Two big dressing room voices were no more, by Son Heung-min stepped up as the new club captain to help steer the transition in squad and management.
He enjoyed spells both up front and out wide under Ange Postecoglou as the Australian looked to implement a more attacking style of play and, though his form dipped towards the end of the season, his presence was vital.
His miss against Manchester City in the penultimate game of the season will live long in the memory of some more than others, but the 31-year-old remains one of the most devastating finishers in the league.
The need for adaptation in his game remains, but Son will once again be vital for Spurs next season as they look to go one further and qualify for the Champions League.
