Postponing a game 3 hours before kick off when a lot of fans have probably travelled is disgusting and ridiculous!!!! @premierleague you need to postpone games a day before a match not 3 hours before a game I can't see Spurs Liverpool going ahead London big covid hotspot #LFC https://twitter.com/Enrohd_1992/status/1472210197447856138
🚨NEW: Antonio Conte has contacted Arturo Vidal to understand whether he would be interested in joining #thfc. The midfielder has always wanted to play in England and he finds the option of moving to London attractive. | @latercera https://twitter.com/Daily_Hotspur/status/1472188270687797250
🎙| Son on covid vaccines:“ I felt I needed it because I didn’t want to infect other players or other people if I had covid. It doesn’t mean that if I get vaccinated I won’t get covid but the percentages would be a bit lower so I don’t want to infect other people.” https://twitter.com/TheSpursExpress/status/1472337443051511809

8 - Harry Kane has scored his first home goal in the Premier League in 788 minutes of play, ending a run of eight league games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without scoring. Relief. https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/1472610815899574284
A very entertaining game, but it could have been a very different story at the break had Tottenham made more of their openings in front of goal while ahead.
HT 1-1 Liverpool started and ended the half well but in between, Spurs should really have been at least two goals ahead. Klopp booked after anger at various decisions - most obviously Kane tackle on Robertson and Emerson Royal on Jota. Still, finely poised. Superb entertainment. https://twitter.com/JamesOlley/status/1472617290793426946
Brilliant half of football. Both teams will think they should be winning. Easily the best 45 minutes of Tottenham's season but those missed chances were costly. Winks very good, Dele, bar the miss, also good. #THFC https://twitter.com/jonathandveal83/status/1472617610269372418
That was very entertaining. Both teams had chances and looked like scoring more often than not when they attacked. Feel like the momentum might be with Liverpool now after those Spurs misses, and Spurs might be tiring. But... Kane and Son still looking very sharp up front. https://twitter.com/JackPittBrooke/status/1472618228845326337
That was an end to end first half and it could have been 3-3 at the break.
Liverpool had a couple of early chance that they could have scored from before Spurs really started to find their rhythm.
The midfield trio all getting their chance made an impact on the first half, Harry Winks in particular superb in his defensive efforts and his distribution.
It was his booming tackle in the Liverpool half that won the ball back for Spurs and allowed Tanguy Ndombele play a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Harry Kane to fire home only his second Premier League goal of the season. The relief on his face was clear.
Tottenham should have added a second goal with Son Heung-min and Dele Alli both spurning glorious chances to add to their lead.
Liverpool made them pay with Diogo Jota heading home from Andy Robertson's cross.
Spurs got away with a couple of iffy challenges. Kane's overzealous challenge on Robertson might have got a red card on another occasion while Emerson bringing down Jota in the Tottenham box looked to be a penalty not given.
It was an entertaining first half and the crowd were pumped up throughout as the players gave everything.
Whether they tire in the second half is another thing, but Liverpool also played on Thursday night and will not be fresh.
Whoever handles the fatigue best will win this contest.
RED CARD Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson is sent off following a challenge on Emerson Royal, with the decision being confirmed after visiting the Referee Review Area
