Rising Ballers “16 years and 320 days, Dane Scarlett is the first 16-year-old to appear for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Sharp shooter 💨” https://www.instagram.com/p/CK_n4y2h6Y2/
Like most of the the team on the day, coach José Mourinho was good enough. The defense was better, but still has some issues. The attack was more free flowing but took the foot off the pedal on both sides of the ball. Mourinho moved well and never left the touchline as he urged more from his players. Ultimately, it seems like THAT Mourinho, the loud, encouraging, arm over the shoulder coach is the one Tottenham needs, hopefully that can persist. We want to give him a 7 but given Kane played the full 90 and Scarlett was only given 2 minutes, we cannot do it because those should have been easy decisions earlier in the match.
Player Ratings 4-2-3-1
Hugo 7.5 : Aurier 7, Davinson Sanchez 7, Toby 7, Ben Davies 6 : Ndombele 7, Højbjerg 8 : Lamela 7, Lucas Moura 6.5, Sonny 7 : Kane ☆8.5
Sonny was finally back on the scoresheet for Tottenham. However, like Harry Kane likely feels he should have had more on the day. Had a decent chance in the first ten minutes and hit the target but was tame with the effort. Absolutely should have scored in the first 30 seconds of the first half one-on-one with the keeper. Made amends for those misses with a big finish just minutes after Kane had given Spurs the lead. Hopefully the goal that gets Son back in tune.

My top 10 premier league strikers of all time. This is only pure number 9’s and not second strikers like Cantona and Bergkamp etc.
I had Rooney ranked ahead of Shearer and Aguero in my top 10 Premier league players list ‘post’ months ago. However, that list had more ‘emphasis’ on overall footballing ability.

In 2016 Tottenham almost had ‘the premier league’s greatest ever striker’ on their roster. No not Harry Kane. Following the triumphant entrance of pep at Manchester City, doubts were cast as to whether Kun Agüero would be able to fit into pep’s system leading Mauricio Pochettino to attempt to add his fellow argentine to his already impressive strike force.
The thought of Aguero and Kane playing together is one that would send chills down any defender’s spine.
Would this be the greatest strike partnership of all time? 👇

Harry #Kane: "#Vardy deserves more respect from the English media. They are not covering his great career enough. The guy is always among top scorers since the day he played in Premier League. For me he is a great striker which I would love to partner with in the next Euro tournament. He does deserve more respect." https://www.instagram.com/p/CLCh1FAhkon/
