It was always going to be tough for Son to match the performance he delivered against Arsenal last time out.
Coming up against a stringent Crystal Palace defence, the South Korean star failed to find the back of the net as Jose Mourinho's men dropped points in the title race.
Son, somehow, still took an assist away for Harry Kane's goal, even though he simply laid the ball into the England captain who hit a shot from distance that fortunately flew in.
Son's attention will now turn to Wednesday night's trip to Anfield where he will feel confident he can cause damage to Liverpool's makeshift back-line.
