剛：ことの発端は「いつか大喜利やりたいな」ってチラチラ言っていて、たまたま「やりたいって言ってたよな」と声をかけられたからなんです。でもまあ、ほかにもドラマやったりバラエティやったり映画やったりといろいろしてますけど、基本的に軸は音楽ですね。KinKi Kidsはデビューから、「硝子の少年」というものすごい楽曲を山下達郎さん・松本隆さんに作っていただいた。とても贅沢ですよね。レコーディングした当時は音楽のことはまるで何もわからなかったけれど、その後、『LOVE LOVE あいしてる』などの音楽番組を通して、吉田拓郎さんだったり、坂崎幸之助さんだったり、たくさんのミュージシャンに出会い、生き方みたいなものを教わりました。そこに強烈に反応したからこそ今がある、と思いますね。
