私は1年ほど前身内の妊娠から出産を経験いたしました。
妊娠は発覚してすぐにお腹が所謂妊婦さんのイメージのように
大きくなるわけではありません。何ヶ月もたってからのことですよ。
ある程度大きくなっても鈍い人はわからないもので。。
妊娠が検査で発覚して、お腹の中の胎児の成長も良好、
そうすれば友人と会った際
「I'm going to have a baby!」
と話すのではないでしょうか。道が選択されそこに向かいつつあるんです。
もちろん妊娠が発覚した時点で
「I'm going to have a baby!」
でも全然問題ないというか、本人の意識次第でしょうね。
まさに"be going to"向かっていることろだってことですね。
事が起こるまでの時間的な長さとかはあまり関係ないような気がしますよ。
その道がものすごく短いときもあれば、長く険しいこともあるでしょう。
妊娠、出産。女性はすごいです。
女性はすごいって思うとき、いつも、James Brown の「It's A Man's Man's Man's World」の歌詞が思い浮かびます。
