我々は、すべての男や女が、そして利害の反する者同士こそが、報復を心配することなく自由に考え発言できるフランスを愛する。
なぜなら我々は、不公正と人生におけるアクシデントから我々を守る唯一の要塞である、我々の社会モデルに愛着を持つからである。
なぜなら我々は平穏で連帯し豊かな多様性を持つフランス、そこではモーリスだろうがソフィーだろうがサラだろうがラシダだろうがアマドウだろうが、すべての子供たちが、自分は共和国の子供だと思えるようなフランスを望むからだ。
なぜなら、フランスは、ユニヴァーサルに思いをいたす時にのみ、本当のフランスであるからだ。誰になんと言われようとも、フランスの上げる声は、その公正と平等とライシテという価値観のおかげで、世界に届くのである。
なぜなら権力とは共有するべきであって、一点に集中すべきではないからだ。
だからこそ我々は、フランスを愛するすべての人に、セゴレーヌ・ロワイヤルに投票し、また投票することを勧めることにより、２００７年５月６日をデモクラシーと共和国の理想の勝利の日となすことを、ここに呼びかける。」
