Well, #1 is difficult to talk about, because of course it strongly depends on what kind of books
one reads, how deep one understands the context of the books, and how carefully one reads them with
checking and clarifying each of difficult points. I think things are easier when one just skims
"shinsho"s (concise compact books) or paperbacks. However, in my understanding, 2, 3, and 4 would
be the cases for many people in areas of both natural sciences and humanities.
