　Note, that the English word 　science　 can also be used in a way that includes the humanities, social sciences and even theology.　＜　激しくダウト。　　しかし辞書にはそうある。

・・・　then the word 　science　 can be directly translated to　 Naturwissenschaft.

辞書を見ると、日本語でも「科学」には【学問一般】の意味があるようだ。

というか、　「科学」「自然科学」　は、　それぞれ　Wissenschaft、　Naturwissenschaft　の訳語っぽい。
