Youth Programme “World Heritage: the roles of local communities and youth for the next
decade”
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Ritsumeikan University with the cooperation of UNESCO World Heritage
Centre, organize a Youth Programme entitled "World Heritage: the roles of local communities
and youth for the next decade".
Participants between 20 and 30 years old involved in the World Heritage, from different
regions in the world, will discuss their roles for the future of the Convention
