Environmental problems are complex. Most of them are generated by human intervention into natural processes.
These problems cannot be resolved with a simple single approach, but requires integration of dif- ferent methods.
Hence we address this issue in a broader sense by practicing various research techniques in field as well as
in laboratories that includes but is not lim- ited to chemical analysis, biological experiments and GIS.
Goals and objectives are met through coopera- tion and collaborative projects with other institutions when the laboratory resources
are not sufficient. We encourage each student and expose him or her to various fields of research discipline
for a deeper un- derstanding the environmental concepts. Our laboratory is equipped with sophisticated
and modern instruments for analyzing water chemistry. We welcome those who have enthusiasm in studying topics related to aquatic environments.
