– the open source model is gonna be way better than people expect, especially running locally
– proactivity, AI running persistently in the background, is the real unlock (finally catching on to this, been obvious for a while)
– GPT-5 won’t be the final form, but it’ll be a big step closer
– right now they’re focused on getting the AI right before sticking it in a robot, but that’s probably not far off
– could totally see a future where the top ChatGPT Pro tier comes with a free humanoid robot
– demand for humanoid robots in a few years will massively outstrip supply, but maybe the robots can build more robots and bootstrap the whole thing faster
