April 12th
It was a cloudy morning with a threat of rain. We drove to Plitvice Lakes National park.
As we approached our destination it began to rain. It rained off and on all day I was disappointed.
There has 16 lakes including all sizes and 92 falls, The natural scenery was so beautiful that it could
have been a painting. After that we drove over the border between Croatia and Slovenia.
In the evening we arrived Ljubljana. We arrived the Mantova hotel.
We had some trouble at the hotel. We had to change rooms, My husband and I each had our own room.
We didn't tell anyone. We kept it a secret!
Please refrain from laud talking or using cell phone in the car.
というボードが下がっていました。にもかかわらずあちこちでビジネス
マン風がパソコンを打ちながら大声で独り言を言っています。良く見たら
携帯電話をフリーハンド型にして使っていたのでした。これがQuiet Car
でなかったらもっと煩いのでしょう。帰りもQuiet Carにしました。
終わった・・!
April 13th
We visited Lake Bled and Postojna Caves in Slovenia. We left the hotel at 8:00 am.
And then we drove to Lake Bled. The lake looked mysterious (cloaked in mist)
I took thousands of photographs. After lunch we went to Postojna caves It is one of Europe's largest limestone cave.
Each year it visited by 8 hundred thousand of people from around the globe.
In the evening we passed over the border between Slovenia and Italy and then we arrived Trieste.
We arrived the Impero hotel, it was center of city. As soon as we arrived there, we went to on a walk with our
bus driver in the city. The whole city was beautiful!! and sky color was beautiful.
Then we went out for our last dinner. This trip, I met a whole variety of people and I met Yoko she will be
my best friend. I had a joyful occasion.
April 14th,15th
We arrived in Narita at 9:30 am. on May 15th We took a Azarea bus to Maebashi.
We stopped at my son's house on the way home.
when we arrived my son's house my grandchildren played in this park. when my grandson saw me he jumped up on me.

私にはなじみのない表現だったので外人に聞いてみたところ次のような返事
がきました。
The first sentence should (or could) read: " We drove from Split to
Dubrovnik which took about five hours for 230 km. ", or, using a
semicolon, "We drove from Split to Dubrovnik; it took about 5 hours
for 230 km."
The next sentence might be: "We saw some coastal towns and
landscapes while driving." -- No need to use the same adjective
twice if it applies to both objects --
Following: "We engaged in animated conversation with my friends
on the bus; at times we laughed so hard that tears ran down our
cheeks." The use of the semicolon saves this from being a run-on
sentence -- She was probably trying to approximate the common
expression "tears ran down our cheeks"-- A lower class version
of this is "I laughed so hard I peed my pants!" which is often used
by women with, maybe, a little less education but a good ability to
enjoy merriment --
You reminded me that as a child I too use to lay in the
grass and look up the sky watching clouds in the warm
summer days. Sometimes i'd close my eyes and pretend to
fly among the clouds. That was so mmuch fun. Today it
remains a wonderful memory. Thanks for sharing yours
with me..
