Subject: Lowering the consulting fee
Hello Steve,
(Helloで始まっており、Mr.—でなくFirst nameで呼び、:
コロンでなく,を使っていることに注意)最近多い形式である。
I sent the below email to your PR department three days ago and followed up with two messages for Leo Decaprio on his answering machine. No one has returned my calls.
When we contracted your company to provide consulting services, I was under the impression that I would get prompt(=quick) service. Maybe I was wrong.
I would like to suggest that we lower the consulting fee we pay to you from 5,000 to 1,500 USD a month. That way, (あのようなやり方では)we will not have such high expectations for prompt service. If you feel that this is inappropriate, please let me know.
