One of the most practical and realistic applications of non-cooperative game theory is auction theory. The course provides an analysis of auctions as games with incomplete information.

The students who has basic knowledge of linear algebra, calculus of
several variables, and probability theory.

Modern auction theory started with the seminal article of Vickery (1961). Our goal is to cover the main developments in auction theory since the appearance of that pioneering work.
