いつも楽しくTBR聞いております。さて、TOEIC Part2は質問文のパターンを
見極めた上で、それに沿ったテクニック(コツ)を使うことが大切と
よく言われますが、do you think you could --- というのは、
Why don't you - や Would you like to - などのような「提案」の定型表現
の仲間と考えていいのでしょうか?それとも、やはり状況によると考えるべき
なのでしょうか?(Part 2では、状況を瞬時に考えるのは難しいですが。)
例)Do you think you could turn the music down a little?
それから、ある本では、Would you -は「依頼」とありましたが、必ず
そうなるのでしょうか?下記は「依頼」でしょうか?
例)Would you recommend the new novel by Paul Miller?
ちなみに、Will you be needing anything else, sir?は「提案」の
パターンでしょうか?(Wouldではなく、Willになっている。)
