In line with Mozilla, it seems Microsoft is back again to muscling apart its competitors around the browser sector. This time, they're banning Firefox from ARMbased Home windows. Harvey Anderson, Mozilla's Typical Counsel, promises "They're trying to come up with a new version in their operating product which denies their users selection, competitors, and innovation," and that "Making IE the only real browser on that platform may be a complete return towards the electronic dim ages when there was only one browser relating to the Home windows platform." This looks to get the beginning of a further browser war like that observed around the 1990s in which Microsoft put to use their muscle to force out Netscape bringing a couple of stagnation in net browsers. Since it stands, Mozilla could create a browser for ARMbased Home windows, but that browser will be crippled thanks to how Microsoft has taken care of use of varied modes and APIs. Microsoft's only defense originates from Deputy Typical Counsel David Heiner who stated two good reasons why they wont allow other browsers:
