Tournament rules
The tournament will be played in 4 rounds, as depicted in Figure 1. The first three rounds will be 1vs1 matches, and the final will be involving four players.

Top tier racers (determined from the available wifi ranking tables) will benefit from a protected status: they will be spread in the draw so that the top four players cannot meet before the final, and cannot meet a member from the 5-8 group before the semi-final.
The tournament is limited to 32 players at most.
Round 1 is played in 2 GPs (GP1 with items, GP2 no items). Round 2 is played in 3 GPs (GP1 and GP2 with items, GP3 no items). Round 3 is played in 4 GPs (GP1 and GP2 with items, GP3 and GP4 no items). The final is played in 10 GPs (first 5 with items, last 5 no items).
If players are tied at the end of their match, additional GPs are played with items until one of them wins. All races can be chosen again in these extra GPs.
In the first three rounds, players select the races themselves. If players have competed on a race already, it cannot be chosen anymore for the whole match duration. The final is played as a double all-20 (with items and then no items), in which all races are played one after the other.
Offline tracks are forbidden, because some players do not have the possibility to practice on them. Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden.
If one player gets disconnected during a race, his opponent wins this race. If a disconnection occurs between races, players continue the match until they have completed all the required races.
Items may be held during the races.
Tournament schedule and enrollment conditions
Enrollment period: January 17th – January 26th
Tournament draw: January 27th
Round 1: January 28th – February 3rd
Round 2: February 4th – February 10th
Round 3: February 11th – February 17th
Final: February 18th – February 24th
Any player can participate to the tournament; he/ she only needs to provide his friend code and nickname in the official enrollment page here.
Contact between players can be made by the tournament thread or by any other means (youtube, chats, etc.) if more convenient for the contestants. In case of particular difficulty in contacting one’s opponent, help will be provided by the organization team.
The tournament table will be randomly drawn in a live streamed session at 2 pm GMT.
Players may face each other at any time during the allowed time period. If a match is not played before the deadline, both players are eliminated.
大会規定
上記の英語で示した[Figure1]で示すように、計4戦を勝ち抜いた方が優勝となります。決勝までの3戦は1vs1で行われ、各ブロックごとで勝ちぬいた4人で決勝を行います。
wi-fiランキング等を考慮し、8人のプレイヤーを各ブロックに均等且つ、準決勝まで当たらないような場所に配置します。
参加者人数は先着32名とさせていただきます。
1回戦はアイテムあり1戦、アイテムなし戦1戦の計8レース。
2回戦はアイテムあり2戦、アイテムなし1戦の計12レース。
準決勝はアイテムあり2戦、アイテムなし2戦の計16レース。
決勝はアイテムあり20レース、アイテムなし20レースの計40レースで行われます。
1回戦から準決勝まではコースを自由に選択することができます。但し、1回走ったコースは選ぶことはできません。1回戦であれば、8レースすべてコースが違うということです。
全てのレースが終了した段階で、同点の場合は延長戦(4レース)を行い、勝ち越した方が勝者となります。なお、延長戦の場合は延長前に走ったコースでも選ぶことができます。
解禁コース含め、改造器機の使用は禁止となっております。
もしもレース中に自分の回線が落ちてしまったり、やむを得ず切断した場合は、そのコースでの勝者は相手となります。
コース選やキャラ選時は残りのレース数をこなすだけで結構です。
例 AvsB
A氏 3レース目の途中で回線落ち⇒自動的に3レース目はB氏の勝利⇒再検索をして残りの5レースをやる。 といった流れです。なお、アイテム保持や減速等は禁止事項ではありません。アイテムありせんはなんでもありです。
大会スケジュールと参加条件
トーナメント抽選：1月27日
1回戦：1月28日から2月3日まで
2回戦：2月4日から2月10日まで
準決勝：2月11日から2月17日まで
決勝：2月18日から2月24日まで
基本的にどなたでも参加できます。
参加する際には、参加申込スレッドにてテンプレに従って記入し、最終的に参加者全員のFCの登録を済ましておいてください。
対戦相手とのコンタクトは待ち合わせスレや、他の媒体を使用して行う等自由です。
抽選は、午後2時にライブストリーミングセッションで配信されます。
万が一、期間内に予定が合わず勝敗がつかない且つ一方の棄権がない場合は両者を失格処分とします。
