And, it's known that he had heard 「去ね、去ね」as auditory hallucinations just before the accident.
By the way, this dialect (去ね) means 「leave」in English.
As the past form of 「leave」is same as one side of the right & left, possibly, 'inner-voices' might instruct him to turn himself toward the left direction from the extreme rightistic tendency.
I hope to understand that this is a mere delusional idea.
