TOEILeaks is a not-for-profit Internet radio programme. Our goal is to help TOEIC takers. We provide an innovative, secure and anonymous way for test takers to ask questions about the TOEIC they have taken. Our main activity is to answer such questions verbally using the Internet radio. We set up a message board here so that test takers and radio panelists can communicate with each other. We are a new organisation, relying on a network of dedicated TOEIC experts in Japan.
TOEILeaks has sustained and triumphed against legal and political attacks designed to silence our radio organisation, our bloggers and our anonymous sources. The broader principles on which our work is based are the defence of freedom of speech and media publishing, the improvement of English language education and the support of the rights of all TOEIC takers to learn from the TOEIC. We derive these principles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In particular, Article 19 inspires the work of our panelists and other volunteers. It states that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. We agree, and we seek to uphold this and the other Articles of the Declaration.
TOEILeaks has combined high-end Internet radio technologies with educational and ethical principles. Like other educational outlets helping learners, we take (but do not solicit) questions. Unlike other outlets, we provide answers via cutting-edge Internet radio technologies. This enables us to have real-time communication with our listeners. We are fearless in our efforts to help learners solve TOEIC-related problems. When a question comes in, our panel of TOEIC experts analyse it, verify it and answer it adding useful educational advice. We net-cast our discussions live. Our radio station is named after WikiLeaks, although the two organisations are not related. Unlike WikiLeaks, we do NOT seek to publish leaked information.
As we respect the rights of Educational Testing Service, the creator of the TOEIC, TOEILeaks been developing and improving a harm minimisation procedure. We do not censor questions submitted by our listeners, but from time to time we may avoid answering them directly to protect the integrity of the TOEIC.
I'm sorry, I'll take today's TOEIC test,
but I won't be able to make it to the radio station tonight
because I've got a business trip(due to an urgent matter!)....
Maybe I'll listen to the radio somewhere
and post my opinions or questions on this bulletin board.
I hope you all have a wonderful time together!
