As for "extreme ideological polarization" of US people,
I think you, Ryland is one of them who are responsible for it.
I myself is not religious in any sense,
but it is not difficult for me to think over
how Christians are upset by the Jesus Dance in your site.

After all, you Americans should learn much from the Europeans
how to cope with the religion and religious people.
It is not clever to deny the Evolution Theory,
but it is also stupid to deny the religious thinking at all,
because mankind has not yet found other means
to cope with the fear of death than religions.

As for "isolationism and arrogance" that trj fears,
I think US can never be more arrogant than now
by falling into isolationism.
From my point of view, what is arrogant is that
you think yourself to have a right
to kill some political enemy by your missile or that
you pay big money to the information of the enemy.
This world is not Great Western.

You like to say that US liberated Iraqi People
from the tyranny of Sadam,
but then why can't you believe in the Iraqi People!?
If you think you are doing right thing,
why don't you move them by justice, not by money!?

"I think I have found other means to cope with death.
It is called acceptance of reality."

I do not deny that there could be someone
who were strong enough to face that reality.
But there can also be other people,
who want to die in more religious mood,
which would assure them some peace of mind.

As a matter of fact, I have seen not a few people,
who are apathetic to any religions in their youth,
turn to be religious when they become old.
It may be inconscientious and even ridiculous to someone's eye,
but it is the other reality that a man is not so strong.

In that sense, even if you do not need any religions,
I think you should not bother other people
who want to be religious. That is one reason
that I think marriage of same-sex couples should be denied.
If they need some means to do an inheritance between them etc.,
we should create another system to assure their needs.

After all, it is not productive to argue that
we should be 100% religious or to be 100% not religious.
I think we should find some compromise in-between.

I totally agree with Mr. Pete.
As is well-known, democracy is really a tedious process,
and yet we approve it because it is better than any other one.
Then why should we avoid the time and effort
just only for the case of voting and counting!?
I think it would be better to dump democracy itself,
if we dump the old and simple style of voting.

"The trouble is that the principle of
democratic decision making seems to be under attack,
and the move away from transparent, simple,
tried and tested voting seems to assist that process."
Really it is the crucial point.
I think that attack is just a plot of communism(revisionism)
as a puppet of the conspiracy,
in order to throw the democracy into a confusion,
and demolish the people's trust in it.

"There seem to be an awful lot of fascists about."

I know well that my contention can not be understood easily.
But, in my opinion, such a rise of fascism is always a result
of a penetration by the communism or conspiracy into our society,
including the case of Hitler.
Moreover, such cases as Ruby Ridge or Waco, I think,
are unmistakable symptoms of society encroached by communism.

"But go on, pick one of two poisons and then don't bitch
when your bloated corpse is found with a smile on its face."

I do not know how big the possibility is
that the Iraqi war expands into Iran and/or Syria
or how much you Americans are fear of such situation.
But, neglecting personalities or abilities of both candidates
and concentrating just on a political dynamics,
US will be safer under the Republican Government
than Democrat one, at least in a war time.

That is because Republican people are more likly
to obey their leaders unconditionally
especially in a war time, just as Rick said.
So, as long as Republican Government goes to war,
there is a counter force by Democrat to check it,
but once Democrat Government participates in a war,
that is more like a car with no breaks.
I think that was just the situation
when US fell into the morass of Vietnam.

After all, the responsibility of the Iraqi war,
of course, goes to Bush Jr. et al. principally,
but the role of Mass Media can not be overlooked
when they stirred up the anti-Sadam mood,
just as they are fanning too much Bush bashing, now.
It can be possible that THEY are just trying to set Kerry
to the top and enlarge the war to Middle East as a whole.

"PATRIOTISM IS NOT BLIND FAITH IN YOUR GOVERNMENT AND/OR YOUR LEADERS."
'"Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it." Malcolm X'

Certainly, there can be no other rational conclusion than that,
but regretfully, matter was not so simple in a real history of mankind.
That is, in a real history of warfare, it can not be totally denied
that every deed of victor is apt to be authorized by his final victory.
Probably that is why "Americans of the conservative mindset" think
"patriot" to be synonymous with "agreeing with the President".

So generally speaking, such definition of "patriot" is not totally wrong,
I think, as long as it is told about total warfare.
But it is not so, at least, about partial warfare like Vietnam war,
where defeat never meant the occupation of your land by the enemy.
Iraqi war also is a partial warfare, and if someone says the same thing,
it would rather be a rhetoric to attack the opposite than the truth.

If only we could just unveil it...

"Hans Christian Andersen, what would be the words of his
to describe the situation/the cruelty of the occupation
/the low spirit of United Nations?"

After all, every cruelty in this world, I think,
is an inevitable result of the conspiracy
which rules this whole world through communism.
It is nothing but a slavery executed very shrewdly
by some Jewish organization,
and it will be very easy to overcome it,
if only we could just unveil it
and show the truth to all the people of the world.
See my site for more detailed information.

Suicide bombing is the absolute justice

"when are there going to come some explanitions on the body as weapon?"
I think there is no need of explanation for suicide bombing,
because any deed which is done by someone in exchange for his life
is the absolute justice in principle.
All the responsibility should go to them who drove him into such an act.

After all, Palestinian problem should be resolved
by all the Jews going out of Palestine soil.
Actually Jews have already done enough crimes to mankind
by slaving it through the communism,
and such a resolution will be the least punishment for them.

Thank You. I am eagerly waiting for many excellent opinions,
until April thirtieth when the round of this time ends.

If you intend to get the Prize, please write your name as
<your handle name>#********
where ******** means any 8 letters consist of alphabets and numbers,
which will be automatically translated to other letters and
used to determine who is who.

One more tip you should know is, if you contain some URL's,
you must write it not as http://**** but as ttp://**** to avoid error.
It is a trick of this site to check spams.

Thank you for your invitation!
I don't think what I'd like to write here will be useful to someone or help this board increase its popularity.
But I appreciate if I could have a place where I can write about things by which my mind is occupied at times.
I think my writing will become something like a monologue of 'I suffer, therefore I write'. I'd also like to write lightly at other times, though.
Is it OK if I write with such attitudes?
(Needless to say, I'd like to decline an offer for the Prize if I won it.)
