うちのじいちゃん高松農業が最終学歴。
但し獣医。２０歳になる前に獣医免許を取ったとか。

岡大も農専が母体。
しかも農学系の「研究所」を有しているのは東大、京大、北大、岡大に４校のみ。
岡大資源生物科学研究所がそう。
「研究センター」をもっている大学はかなりあるが、「研究所」になると上記の４校だけ。
その他、岡大には大麦研究センターもある。
研究体制では中国四国の農学系学部ではダントツ。
獣医については岡山農学校から岡山農専へ移行時に廃止されてしまった。
当時は獣医というのは今ほど重要とは考えられていなかったようだ。
まあ今頃になって岡大も獣医学部作ろうとしとしているけどね。
医学部と農学部が中心となって獣医学部設置準備室というのがある。
