On this occasion let me share with you an episode of mine. Right before my departure from Erbil last week, I met by surprise Dashni Morad, a famous Kurdish singer and active NGO leader on education and environmental issues including climate change.
We had a very exciting conversation particularly on how we can cooperate on education on climate change between Japan and Kurdistan. As Japan’ s major contribution in Kurdistan has been in the field of electricity, water supply, sewage, agriculture and education that are all related in view of alleviating negative impacts of climate change.
Her action with a focus on education through advocacy on climate change and environmental issues perfectly resonates with Japan’s long-term goal through big projects.
I felt like having being punched by Dashni as her ideal pushes me forward more for the sake of Japan , Kurdistan and Iraq. Don’t you want to be punched by her like me?

These are not "all the areas that need to be evacuated." According to the IDF, these numbers are intended to enable residents to "evacuate from specific places for their safety if required" in separate evacuation notices, similar to codes in Israel for rocket attack warnings:

The videos I’m seeing over the last 36 hours from Gaza are beyond human comprehension. Children’s intestines spilling out, skulls cracked open, faces seared off, limbs flying… who else endures this but Palestinians? No anesthetic. No morphine. No saline wash. No clean water.
