One side note, a very sad one. I found out a few years ago that such weapons had been used in Iraq during the first gulf war, alledgedly by both the US and by Israel. This was hard for me to believe at first, I believe or remember that I just could not believe it at first. By I recall more than one senior analyst or military insider who said that was the case.
第1次湾岸戦争の時からこのような兵器(核爆弾)がアメリカとイスラエルによって使われているという話があることを知って、最初は信じ難かったが....(alledgedlyは、allegedlyのスペルミスと思われる。)

【To make the planes controllable using electronic military technology,
control systems, similar to those used in Tomahawk missiles, were installed in the planes.
To kill the pilots and passengers, military gas tubes were installed in the planes.
They can be remotely activated to introduce the gas into the ventilation system killing crew
and passengers in less than one minute.
After normal take off of the planes, their controls were remotely taken over after killing the crew and passengers.
Then by automatic control they were sent to their targets. For security and reliability reasons,
these operations had to be done in a sequential manner.】

【The toxic dust-cloud that shrouded Lower Manhattan on Sept. 11 contained various dangerous substances, including dioxins, benzene and asbestos; the 14,500-some New York City firefighters and EMS workers who worked at Ground Zero had some of the greatest exposure to toxins there.
Thousands of workers have become sick after responding at the World Trade Center site; a report issued by Mount Sinai Medical Center, which operates an ongoing screening program, found that nearly 70 percent of Ground Zero workers suffered lung problems as a result of their exposure to toxins in the dust-cloud.】

【December 2, 2007 -- The city Health Department has launched a sweeping study
- the first of its kind - of cancers among 9/11 responders and thousands of others who lived or worked near the
World Trade Center.
"We're starting to look at all cancers now. It's a high priority," said Lorna Thorpe, the department's deputy commissioner for epidemiology.
"There's reason for concern," Thorpe said, because of known carcinogens in Ground Zero dust and smoke such as benzene, asbestos, silica, and chemicals emitted in fires.】
