What is /r/ryuusegai? What is the purpose of the sub?

butakimudon says he made the sub as a home for people like VoiceOnFate, because at the time they were being driven out of newsokur. So basically it was a sub to protect and worship users like VoiceOnFate who went on huge rants and harassed people.

ryuuseigai was essentially a sub that harbored people who believed the proper way to settle internet arguments was to fight it out in an all out flame war, and enjoyed watching flame wars happen. To them, being aggressive racist pieces of shit to each other is a sign of strength, and running away from internet arguments is a sign of cowardice.

That is... Interesting.
I can see why getting someone banned from Reddit would be seen as counter to that philosophy.

At least they follow through with their philosophy. If you look at the linked threads, mushroom actually doesn't have any posts that are in the negatives, even though he pissed off the entire sub. Instead of downvoting people they don't like, which they see as cowardly, they fight openly with words, which they see as brave.

It's interesting that Anglophone Reddit has many subs dedicated to making fun of (serious) drama on other subs, but no subs that I know of which are dedicated to actively producing and engaging in drama purely for fun.
Perhaps this is something we ought to create for ourselves?
