MH21sのフォグランプについて

1：ポー：2009/02/19(木) 17:16:48: １９年のMH21sに乗ってるんですけど、フォグランプが別のスイッチになっているから普段から使っていい物か悩んでいます
使えるのでしたらHIDに交換したりしてみたいのですが。。。
知っている方いたら教えて下さい。

と記載がありました。
ＦＯＧランプはどちらかと言うと左右に広く照らすランプですよね

ＨＩＤに変える意味が理解できないというのはなぜなんでしょうか？

ウィキペディアにもＨＩＤ型のものがあるという記載もあるし？

いちゃもんではなくて　素朴な疑問なんです。
