cartierlovejesduas If I had a job at Wal Mart, we’d be loaded, at least feel that way. For the record, that statement you just read was from someone on food stamps. Someone who hates it and wishes it was harder to get on and easier to get off, instead of the reverse. I don’t have a job. I can work, but can’t do what I have done all my life due to back issues, Food stamps create a culture of dependence. My neighbor got a raise, something like 6 dollars a month…that put her over the cap for ehr family size for food stamps and she lost over 4oo dollars per month. She did the right thing and took the raise, even though it cost her almost 400 dollars per month. A lot of people would say screw it…I work part time coaching, the first year I had the job the less than a grand I made for two to three months of work, put us, with transportation, loss of food stamps, etc, in the hole. The whoel system is broken and needs fixed.
